Tonight’s episode of Ask Nyomi: Bridging The Gap is called The Pivot—because that’s been the story of my life. When I played basketball, pivot drills taught me how to keep my foundation, protect the ball, and change direction without losing myself. And that’s exactly what life has required of me again and again—from leaving the adult industry, to stepping into healing and self-love work, to building the ecosystem I’m building today. Lately, I’ve been sitting with this truth: I thought I was going back to the “old me”… but that version of me doesn’t exist anymore. I’m still me—just older, wiser, and more intentional. Healing changes you. Life changes you. And sometimes your body will force you to pivot so you can live. We’re going to talk about: What it really means to pivot (without shame) How to recognize the “wiser you” when life shifts your plans How to grieve the old version of yourself and still move forward Why boundaries, rest, and self-advocacy are part of the pivot Q&A at the end (bring your questions) If you’ve been in a season where your health, your life, or your purpose required a change of direction—this conversation is for you.
